On May 26, 2021, NJASECD held a virtual ceremony to honor the New Jersey schools and district that were part of the 2021 Schools of Character Program. This ceremony honored our NJ Emerging Schools of Character, Honorable Mention Schools of Character, and NJ State Schools of Character as well as the 2021 National Schools of Character from New Jersey. We were honored to have as our honored guests Dr. Arthur Schwartz and Lori Soifer of Character.org, Steve Beatty of NJEA, Kelly Allen and Luiz Pereira of the NJ State Department of Education, and Pat Wright and Dr. Joe Meloche who will also be recognized in this ceremony. A video of the ceremony can be accessed below. Students, teachers, staff members, administrators, parents, and community members benefit everyday from your improvement efforts and your infusion of character in all aspects of your school! CONGRATULATIONS to all of our honored schools!
